She especially loved Christmas time when the whole family would come together in her home. One of Judy’s greatest joys was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had articles published in the local papers and even in national magazines but did not really pursue these areas and instead chose to focus on raising her family and being a godly wife and mother. Judy had a knack for gardening, photography, and writing. They were married on Jand had been married for 56 years when Bill passed away last August. She accepted an office job at Anaconda Aluminum in Terre Haute and that was where she fell in love with Bill Newton who was a mill operator there. She was very successful at the State Department but missed her family and decided to move back home. and began working at the State Department. She had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian but upon graduation from high school, Judy moved to Washington D.C. Judy loved growing up and living on a farm and especially loved horses. She is survived by one sister, Sharon Thomas of San Antonio, Texas, her daughter, three sons, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill I, and her son Dan. Judy was the mother of 5 children, Terri Nees and husband Rodney of Dallas, Texas Bill Newton II and his wife Angela of Center Point Patrick Newton and his wife Jody of Brazil Dan Newton and his wife Jill of Cloverdale and Brandon Newton and his wife Jessica of Terre Haute. She was born December 21, 1940, in Clay City to Malcolm and Ruby (Comer) Waldbieser.
